Silk Kantha Patchwork Scarf | Gold
This range of silk Kantha scarves will bring a whole lot of colour to your look. They are each very different and all made from silk with the traditional kantha or running stitch embroidered along each piece of fabric. "Kantha" refers to both the style of running stitch, as well as the finished cloth. It is the tradition of stitching patchwork cloth from rags, which evolved in rural areas. It is a skill passed down from mother to daughter.
On one side the fabric is gold silk with a gentle floral pattern and the stitching in neon green and red.
On the other side there is a patchwork of varying colours, mainly blues, purples, wine and yellows. This side also features the kantha in neon green and red.
